This thread cannot continue without a mention for the Guardian App - probably one of the best I have. Worth the £2.89 (or something like that) price tag, even for the design of the icon alone! So incredibly comprehensive and just brilliant.

There's also a British Gas App, where you can enter your meter reading and be told exactly how much your bill is going to be.

Absolutely agree - I've used it every day so far, even on the tube - the offline download is it's killer function. Starting to see the end of printed papers I think - I really don't miss reading them...

I had been looking forward to the papers adopting the Kindle or something similar, but it doesn't look like that's necessary now! It works really well!

Also, freshly launched today, Tesco have launched a new App called 'Tesco Wine by The Case App' - the world's first visual search App. Also, according to Nick Lansley's Tech for Tesco blog, they are finalising an update to the Store/Product Finder App that makes it work even without a phone signal

See the video here for the Wine App here:

I don't have an IPhone (yet!) - seems I'm always one of the last to get the latest phones - my fault for preferring to be on PAYG!

Anyway, I'm very surprised the TVCatchup app hasn't been mentioned here - lets you watch the majority of Freeview channels (and a few Sky ones) on your phone - I can run it through Skyfire on my N95 8GB.

It has, in the extremely long list of apps above, or somewhere else in the thread.
