I really like it, I hated the rounded corners and love the new bigger bar up top. I note it has about 5px padding-top too.

Speaking of weird page appearance, my google has gone all weird, there's suddenly lots of space to the right of the page that wasn't there before, it's all out of alignment with the top bar I think I've tried everything, I've cleared my cookies, signed out of all accounts, disabled scripts and settings at random, and done the Full Reset of IE thingy, nothing works, does anyone have any ideas to deal with this new ugliness that has been bestowed upon me by some kind of glitch before I kill myself?

Thanks... :(

It's not just you, the same is happening to me. Have they set a max-width on the div containing the content, for some reason? God knows why, it looks extremely weird, and presumably (hopefully) wasn't intentional.

I'm getting the same thing too. It looks crap.

It'd seem it was intentional, a way of drawing more attention to the ads on the right hand side. Even so, it looks crap.

It's intentionally designed so that widescreen users notice the adverts more.
