Thinking about companies/organisations who have experienced a rename in recent years.
Have there been many success stories in this field or have most of the changes been a bit of a washout?
Three that come to mind at the moment are:
Freeserve to Wanadoo, Virgin to Zaavi and The Post Office to Consignia!
Can't think of any successful ones, can you?

Some Zavvi stores are now called Head. I mean, what the hell is that for a new name?

Norwich Union (a solid, British brand name that's been around for 200 years) to Aviva.

Jif to Cif.

Both sound as ridiculous as Consignia and Zaavi.

When we say "recent" I'm guessing we mean at least within the last decade as I don't want someone mentioning Marathon to Snickers, it's been nearly twenty years since it happened and it was a ruddy success even if you reckon it wasn't, let it go already. Opal Fruits you can just about get away with.

Perhaps the greatest and most thorough metamorphosis of them all: ONDigital to ITV Digital. Now there was a well-executed, thorough and orderly transition!

You think you know? Not a very trustworthy source of info then are you, Sput.
Ronnie is victorious, vivacious in victory like a venomous dog. Vile Republicans cease living while the religious retort with rueful rhetoric. These rank thugs resort to violence and swear revenge.

But Ronnie can punch through steel so they lose anyway.
