I'm with HSBC, been with them since the days of Midland Bank, joined because the rest of the family are with them and they were also the "School bank" aswell, so it helped. I've been with them for 11 years now and I've never had a problem with them. I Can't fault their online banking either.

JUST for you cwathen, you can now select up to three options in the poll. I did consider it as I know most people have more than a few accounts.

And Nini, I'm just interested in what people think of who they bank with. Although, there's less to separate between them these days. They used to say people were more likely to get divorced than change their bank account. So have any of you made the plunge and was it worth it?

I am with three banks also so glad you added in the three choices. I am disappointed with them all but hate HSBC the most out of all three.

If I didn't know better I'd say that Ison is just harvesting everyone's details for a big identity theft scam

I'm with BoS - mainly out of habit, but it helped that their student account was significantly better than most of the other offerings (why people think a 1/3 off railcard or a token amount of cash-on-signup is better than a £2500 interest free overdraft I don't know).

As a bank though they are decidedly average, and that's fine by me. They haven't shat all over me yet, so, well done them.

abbey for current and savings, nationwide for mortgage - been with abbey for years, it was where my mum and dad set up my savings account when i was born so when i was 17 and got my first job i opened a current account with them because it was easier.

Halifax - due to the geography of my office when I got a job about 10 years ago.

I don't have anything positive to say about them.
