That is so pretty.
Still got a bit of snow falling today and it looks like we're going to get lots more snow down here over the weekend. We haven't had this much snow for years. I'm loving it, it's like being a kid all over again and it's a proper winter.

Its starting to lose its appeal for me, as I'm worried about burst pipes in the flat. Between you, me and the gatepost, I think it may have happened, as I can see icicles coming from the exterior of the building looking like the mains has gone.
But hey - its a rental flat. SEP* thankfully.

Incredible. The Union Canal is also all frozen over in Edinburgh too.

They've taken that from their building near me. They're up on the 7th floor.scottishtv wrote:VisitScotland have posted a photo of frozen Leith docks:

I'm just up the water from there, and in fact I took some snaps this morning. I'll upload them later.
There's a rusty old metal ladder from the dockside down to the ice surface. I attempted to descend the ladder and see if the ice would take my weight (I was going to hold onto the ladder, mind) but the CEO's PA came running out and complained.
Boo!
