There's always Smiths, Partners and Staples, I'm not losing much sleep over it!! ;)
We don't have Partners or Staples over here. We do have Easons, but they recently closed the nearest store to me (which was an NPO Stationers/Bookstore where I used to work 4 billion years ago). There aren't very many branches of WH Smiths in Northern Ireland.

I discovered that my local Partners in the Arndale has been rebranded as a Rymans. As you might expect, this left me shocked and confused so I did what any reasonable customer would do: stripped off and did a poo in the middle of the the shop.

As much as your contribution to the economy in these crunchy times is appreciated...Alistair Darling IS watching.

I think the phrase you're looking for is "carriage returns".

Wrong, cdd. And as for which it is, I think it depends on if you're a programmer (carrier) or a secretary (carriage). So which are you lesandre?

I got it from my mum, a "clerical assistant", but I do program in True Basic, and I'm trying to get "into" Java.
