Far better than the latest annoying Nationwide ad with "Chrimbo Limbo". Fucking awful.

They’re Flo and Joan who I saw in Edinburgh and were brilliant so it’s a shame they’ve been reduced to this. The whole Nationwide campaign makes me shudder like a ghost is passing through me. Who on earth is watching these adverts and thinking “yes, that’s the company I wish to bank with”?

They annoy me, but not quite enough to make me want to close my account.

You're right, if there was a similar account on offer from another provider, I'd probably take the god-awful advertising into account.

The sheer horrendousness of this advert is beyond words:

If you look at their YouTube version they have equally hackneyed and nauseating versions for autumn and summer, all with the same script.

Have you seen the SunLife advert? "I saw the ads with Parky!" It's like they're acting badly on purpose.

All of these life cover adverts are dreadful. I also despise the British Seniors one where the woman is pottering about trying to look like she's your average woman doing the housework, and yet still waffles on about the Lifetime Payback Guarantee like it's totally normal to discuss such things while pouring tea.

I didn't think they could do worse than the tuppenny John Cooper Clarkes they kept trotting out. These current ones rival the constant Crazy Frog adverts for most annoying ad of the century.

I think the Nationwide singers have a cult following, but this ad may either make them go mainstream or end their careers.
