More small print oddities. I spotted something that confused me in this McDonalds advert:

For some reason, there is a copyright credit given to The Crown Estate at 0:17.

Can't work out why.

The only thing I can think of is that the organic milk is from Duchy/Crown land..? Not sure why that would need mentioning though.

Is that maybe supposed to the the Lake Vyrnwy dam? If so, maybe that is part of the Crown Estate? Not sure that a copyright notice is necessary on something like that, though!

I give you Vanorama, with their jingle set to the tune of "Give me oil in my lamp"

Presumably that's in the Entertain section, because although it features a lot, especially during soccer, it's not remotely irritating to me.

That's also quite tame compared to some of their previous ones.

Yes, but your weirdo credentials are well established ;)

Saw an advert for PG Tips tonight which featured the voice of the woman that does the Masterchef voiceovers announcing a dish in the Masterchef way - are there any special rules around her doing stuff like that? I know I've seen ITV presenters do TV adverts and reference their TV work but I don't think I've ever seen it happen with someone from a BBC show.

The Go Compare man's driving my nuts again. I was so glad when they got rid of him (and when they bought in the humerous adverts where he didn't sing), then they bought him back again and now he's as irritating as he as first time round.

LOL.

Still think the War - Low Rider (on the boulevard) lot were the best mind.

Currently annoying me: The Currys PC World adverts where they get employees to shout in a monotone voice about current offers.
