That's the (confusing point) -- the narrators are mummy and child, both seem to be watching an unrelated storyline involving this skip bloke.

I didn't want to admit it, but yeah, I have literally no idea what's going on in that ad. At all.

Sorry - not normally one to complain about DOGs (and I know they're a push on the scope of this thread) but I'm indulging in a bit of nostalgia by watching Kenan and Kel on Nickelodeon and there's a bloody opaque multi-coloured rectangle covering one third of the 4:3 frame. I know it's a kids channel but surely even children find not being able to see their content annoying?!

God almighty. Paul Whitehouse is at it again with his new Aviva ads (Uhveevur, as he says it this time).

All his characters are so unlikeable. Can hardly fathom why they've brought him back to do more.

What's with the current trend for film trailers to announce the dates as cardinal rather than ordinal numbers.

Saying something's in cinemas from 'March three' jars badly.

in the same way the trailers often reference Fall and not Autumn. It also irritates me that recently they can't even be bothered to re-edit the trailers for the UK. I've seen say a number of film trailers with incorrect release dates/periods.

All adverts which are beauty/cleaning based annoy the hell out of me with their hypo-real dramatisations. Hair and tooth brush/paste commercials are the worst. Can't believe any of them. The best one I've ever seen was the one for Old Spice. Remember seeing that when I was in America on holiday and thought it was hilarious.

Perfume commercials grind my gears too. I suppose it is hard to sell a scent but seriously, most of them is just soft porn!

Simple guide to toothpaste and toothbrushes - the higher the fluoride content the better, if you have sensitive teeth alternate between the normal stuff and the sensitive stuff. Oral-B's toothpaste has some stannous fluoride included, which does improve it quite a bit.

Toothbrushes are simple - a manual with proper techniques applied is just as good as electric or sonic brushes, but are, by a small amount, worse than oscillating-rotating brushes - an Oral-B technology, funnily enough.

Use an alcohol-free mouthwash to prevent cancer, and use inter-dental brushes as opposed to floss.

Ta-da!

Toothbrush commercials should be banned in front of people who no longer have teeth.

I quite like that Guardian advert with the Three pigs. It is very good. I found the extended version on YouTube today, and that's equally excellent,
