I really liked Metrocentre when I visited last year. It was like a much nicer Merry Hill. I didn't see that cluster of olde worlde sweete shoppes though, I shall have to go back.

I can never quite work out whether I think the Trafford Centre is amazing or incredibly tacky. Perhaps they're not mutually exclusive.

What a load of old bullshit for what is essentially a bit of a change of font.

Brand New's take.

I wonder if they have to pay for the rebranding of the Santander cycles (around 11,000 of them around London)? That's a lot of decals to apply.

The symbol has changed slightly. It is a VERY minor change though.

I quite like it, the text is a lot more legible in all formats.

Something a little different, everyone's favourite pay day lender The Money Shop have abandoned their 2016 rebrand and gone back to their old logo with the abortive rebrand never moving beyond the website, POS and a handful of stores. Evidently didn't have the budget to get it done and realised the cheaper option was to revert back areas they had rebranded back to the old look rather than press on with the new. Their website is currently a mess of new and old https://www.themoneyshop.com/south-london/cr0-2ta/

It may be the virtual high street, but today was my first time noticing that Moonpig had a rebrand towards the end of last year, which looks less childish than the old look, and also drops the .com from the brand name. Here's the Brand New article.

Just saw an advert for them on TV but oddly the logo there isn't what made me notice the rebrand! Instead, it was how they've kept the same audio logo (moon-pig-dot-com), which sounds a bit odd now as the sung jingle stops after 'moon-pig', but the 'dot-com' tune is still there...
