Looks more like a Muslim woman in a veil to me.

ther was a set of Traffic Lights in Lisburn N.Ireland that had a sad face drawn on the red light and also a happy face on the green light. Thought it was most amusing.

If I see one more sign at my local market advertising "Battreys - £1" I'll scream!

I saw a sign in a local stationery shop a few years ago:

RING BINDERS 99p each or £2.99 for 3

Reminds me of a friend of mine who, if he's selling raffle tickets for a good cause, will quite deliberately say "£1 each, or £10 for nine".

Don't think he'd get away with it if it was cabbages or ring binders.

I saw "two pints for the price of three". I think, or at least hope, they were trying to be funny.

Dinner lady at school once spelt chocolate "choclit" - bless.
