Have I been missing anything by never bothering to read the "favourite region growing up" thread?

I've never looked because I thought the whole premise was stupid - surely most people whilst they were growing up only had access to one region, so how could they compare it to any other?

I thought the same to be honest, seemed like a waste of a thread and posting for posting's sake.

Meanwhile, Ballyboy in the AE Tutorials Thread seems to not understand that people aren't posting templates there, they're posting things they've made themselves for others to learn from. Get the distinct impression he wants a template for something to then bastardise and stick on his YouTube channel...

It went through a boring patch about transmitters etc that I find incredibly dull, but it’s picked up again with memories being shared about sub-regional splits etc.

There’s a real bad attitude from certain posters in the Coronavirus | General TV News Coverage thread. Not very welcoming to those of a different opinion.

Apparently it's "respecting the mood of the nation" to get rid of Oneness and bring back the balloons now

Is it just me that really respects Technologists knowledge and insight, but just wishes they would have better formatting?

JKDerry at it again, insisting he knows more about the studios at ITN than the people who've actually been and worked there.

You're mistaken, he's not correcting them, he's just restating his opinion. And opinions are worth more than facts, and opinions can never be wrong. So naaaaaa.
