good evening ladies. i put it to you that the supermarket sweep thread should not be sticky.

the voting starts ... now.
Original Poll from 2006
Should the thread be sticky or not?
Yes: 51% (45 votes)
No: 48% (42 votes)
Total votes : 87
</mod edit>
Later poll from 2008
How should the rota issue be dealt with?

Rota discussion should be banned outright: (26 votes) 30%
Separate threads allowing both: (15 votes) 17%
Would prefer outright ban but will put up with separate threads (15 votes) 17%
Separate Forum altogether: (11 votes) 13%
Leave well alone, I like the rota discussion (7 votes) 8%
Another way (13 votes) 15%

Total votes : 87

Of course it bloody well shouldn't.

What the phuque has it got to do with television presentation, anyway?

Yet another case of blatent favouritism by the sadministrator and soderators.

If it had been ME who'd started that thread, it would have been locked and deleted by now; and I'd probably have been banned for daring to be so far off the main topic of the site.

I see the stupid bloody thread is still sticky.

What an amazing dilemma for the sadministrator. Either he totally loses face by taking the sticky status away and proving that he's just a wimp who bows to pressure; or he sticks to his power-crazy principles and leaves it sticky, with Mr VAT Crime's lovely link pointing straight to my comments here.

I quite like these situations where it's either "I win" or "he loses".

It just makes his attitude look more and more foolish.

<Brings apple strudel to table> (I'd pretend to pass it off as my own, only I cannot lie, it's shop bought).

Has TV Forum lost it's independence now then, and now in the back pocket of Talkback Thames ?

Ought I to start this by offering a fairy cake?

Perhaps somebody's applied for a job at Freemantle and needs to grovel a bit?

After all, he's not going to get a job based on his attention to detail, is he?

Surely...
You'll find |_| |_| |_
You'll find |B| |B| |C| is much better (and remind me to never attempt anything this pointless ever again)

And with one thread the standard of TVF has risen considerably in the form of Hymas Kitchen.

could dale winton's sticky thread prove to be asa's version of the poll tax? and with the voting crisis in the mocks forum tension seems to be at an all time high.

I think we should start a petition against this over at TVF. I will do one now on my TVF account in the media websites forum of TVF. Let's get it back the way we like it!
