Gosh that Switched On was infuriating.

I saw 'was' because he'll be no doubt banned by the time most people see this.

Only banned for one week, sadly.

I missed his allegation about Judy Finnigan, but had found him annoying since he started posting last week.

Seems like Jeffrey's back at it again...

Can we just block Jeffrey videos so that he doesn't have that benefit of allowing his thumbnails to be shown proudly? (or at least having it so that it just defaults to a simple video link)

It's unlikely there is any way to block a single user account.

Surely YouTube would have the metadata contained within the video of the user which uploaded it, right?

You expect Asa to change a standard bit of simple code to a custom system that reads the entire metadata feed of the video to check for a certain user and then alter the display based on that purely to deal with the fact that you're incapable of ignoring a bit of low level trolling that doesn't affect the content of the videos in any way?

Well, no. But I was assuming that it was possible just to block a video's thumbnail just from the metadata alone by using custom code to check for the offending user. I apologize if I sound like I have no clue what I am talking about because I assumed that it was something serious.

As for your second point, it really doesn't affect the content at hand, like you said, and that I should just move on from it. I was even debating about if I should've posted this in the first place, because I sort of found it really annoying and irritating.

Again, apologies if I had no clue what I was talking about, I assumed this was just some immature drama which had serious reprocautions.

He writes these long posts where he seems to make out he knows what he's on about but it largely seems to be stuff he's read on TV Forum reworded into endless, repeating posts. You'd almost think he used to work in TV but I don't think he has and he's just making assumptions and stating them as fact based on what he's previously read online.
He writes his posts with such certainty and as if he knows everything about the subject, when most of what he says is easily debunked or just plain BS.
Read the first page of the new Election thread, as hes making loads of posts with lots of 'facts' about what will happen
