The anger is odd, considering Virgin Media has always been a second-rate TV service. It's never had the Lord Sugar connection of Sky or YouView, or the DVB Cornwall connection of British Telecommunications.
Certainly since broadband speeds seem to be their USP these days, the TV side hasn't been the main draw to have the service.

It's not like there isn't alternatives available to VM customers, they could download the TV Player app and watch those channels for £7.99pm using their Virgin connection if they're really desperate to see Top Gear for the 400th time.

OF992 is clearly our latest member who's just been let off school for the summer.

I hesitate to mock based on posters ages - after all, I suspect many regular posters (myself included) joined in their teens.
He does post a lot of rubbish though.

(Come to think of it, I wonder how many of us joined TV Forum as an enthusiastic teenager and now works in the telly industry? I think there are a few...)

Me, though I’m certain I didn’t post in such a sufferable way when I was 13/14.

I think the difference with this generation of younger enthusiasts is their sense of entitlement, without having the knowledge or wisdom to back it up.

I was 22 when I joined TVF in 2001 and yet even the teens then were enthusiastic, but I felt that we all had a shared interest in the pres. Now, you have a kid who thought he was a Sky insider by chatting to a employee at the company etc, which we didn't have then and stroppy kids who show their anger in their posts without having the ability to listen to other opinions.

(Still much better than DS though!)

Can BM11 just stop now with the Cliff bilge? It's worse than your average Cliff record.

One of our school holiday kids asking whether Coronation Street is still in production... I want to scream.

I Like the fact people think TV forum has the power to bring people back to youtube against their will

Looks like BM11 has got fed up with his prophecies of doom and gloom being laughed at.

MMcG198 is angry again at regional accents making it to the BBC.
