My hair is black. His is brown.

He's also got a gay-sounding voice, whereas I don't have *that* much of a homosexual lisp, unlike Ison.

The problem is - I like long hair but it's a bugger to do anything with and I know it doesn't look particularly good. Any ideas on what I can tell the hairdresser next time I visit?
I think you should grow it down to your shoulders, Dan.

Don't listen to these skinheaded pillow munchers. ;)

Don't know. It just looks rubbish at the moment, the picture makes it look better and that's saying something... I never know what to say when I go into the barbers.

(I've always had the genuine desire to reply to "What can I do for you?" with "A haircut please").

Hehehe a few smartasses have used that line on me, to which i reply "which hair?" or "i'll have to charge a search fee first" so don't use that one.

When you got to the barber ask the barber to just trim the length to tidy it as you're growing it ( you are now ;) )but to reduce the bulk with some choppy layers.

I used to work with Redken products years ago and to be honest i didn't rate the range that much. A couple of products were good and that was the anti dandruff shampoo POW!! Head and shoulders is nothing compared to this stuff and a mens shaving bar they done.

I personally say if you find a product that works for you stick with it. whether it's a 99p Tescos own brand or an extortionatly priced professional product. This especially applies to shampoos and conditioners. Shampoo is just a detergent and fairy liquid will clean your hair just as well. With me it's the conditioner that is important. I need it as my hair is rather long. Most men don't need conditioner but if you do the 2in1 is good enough.

It's now been cut off!

Back to short hair for me. Having to spend nearly half an hour washing, drying and straightening it every day was getting tiresome, especially first thing in the morning.

I've done nothing with it since, i.e. it's long, messy and annoying; I plan a trip to the hairdressers next week and will tell them to do whatever they want with it. Within reason, obviously. Using it as a compass would be silly, for example.
