If it's any use they serve Lincolnshire Supreme Chips, which are usually quite nice.

The problem is, you either get people who will think the food is awful, or you get some who think it's the dog's bollocks. Such as yesterday when a woman came up to me after she had her meal (which I did), saying it was the nicest Fish and Chips she ever had. But you can get loads of complaints, some which you can agree on, some are bizzare. Such as a woman who complained because the chips she had weren't up to 'her standard', even though they'd just come fresh out of the fryer.

Is berwick the big one about a mile or two from the Scotland/England border? I noticed the store at the first roundabout in Northumberland had large yellow M sign (MY EYES MY EYES!!!!) and I've heard that the food there rots in about a day!

Well there's some Good News that might worry Mr Morrison and Co, the company is now £70 Million in the red, where as this time last year they were making over £100 Million profit, core Morrisons stores sales are down 5%.

It's on the BBC News website somewhere....

Our local Safeway closes Saturday for best part of a week, for the re-brand to Morrisons.

That's with the exception of the pharmacy department, which now has to stay open, with security guards escorting you through the building work to get to it.

I gather they forgot to let the local health authourity know that they wanted to close for a while, so their choices are either to stay open, or close and lose their licence to be an official pharmacy.

Yet another reason to believe that Morrisons is simply the home of administrative cock-ups.

Well it's all change at Morrison's again, they're going to ditch their black and yellow logo, plus their 'More Reasons' slogan according to Sky News

PS. that first paragraph on the Sky News doesn't make sense at the moment...

"The Sunday Telegraph says the retailer will also consider the possibility of opening small town centre stores and boost its commitment to retaining ownership of its factories."

they just sold all the small safeways to somerfield who have been destroying them all. oh dear. they appear to be seeing the light (i.e. become safeway) but have seen it too late and may take too long to fab themselves back.

Well the logo should have been changed in the 1980's really, it is rather behind the times.

Luckily there aren't many Morrisons down here, only Tesco's although to be honest I'm getting sick of the site of seeing as Tesco every mile and a half or less

I think its about time they changed the main logo but the More reasons and the Music are pretty well reconised - They dont want to do an Asda where they got rid if the reconisable theme (for want of a better word) only to have it back within a few months.

I am sure there are people out there that have thier own ideas on how the new logo should look.

Could do a non TV related Mock designs thingie (technical term - you wouldant understand)
