Hello

I just want to ask a couple of questions about Nokia Mobile phones and wonder if anyone can help me at all?

1. Does anyone know a site where I can get good qulaity images of old nokia phones?

2. Does anyone know why the has never been a Nokia 4000 series phone. all other number groups (1000-900) have been used but there hasnever been a model with a 4000 number i.e. Nokia 4110

Any help would be appriciated!

click About Nokia
click Press
click Photos (LHS navigation)

Then go to whatever you want, view all phones and you get all the PR marketing shots for all the phones they have ever released, including a few that were never made for retail in the UK / Released.

As to 4000, it's reserved AFAIK, dunno what for. They're all grouped in their x000 regions, depending on what series/OS they are.

Nokia are looking into ditching the numbers anyway and going for names/words instead. I can't say much as it's in relation to a job i'm working on, but expect to hear stuff like "Nokia Mango" soon enough in releation to newer/stylish models

I have seen the pictures on http://www.nokia.com, and good quality pictures they are too. Some have been released in USA & Australia only.

The Images I was refering to was the Nokia 2110, Nokia 3110, Nokia Cityman, etc. the really old Nokia phones

Interesting to hear about them changing from numbers to names. They have sort of run out of numbers especially the 3000 sereis (3100, 3110, 3120, 3200, 3210, 3220, 3300, etc.) I suppose they could put letters in front of the numbers but then Sony Ericsson, Motorola, etc. have used letters and numbers already.
