Afternoon luvs,
Well on Friday evening I got back from my lovely 5 days break in Cornwall with my brother staying in the lovely seaside town of Newquay. Cracking...as one member might say...and I have had a wonderful time!
But of course...you can't go and holiday and not show people your holiday snaps. So within this thread - a short 12 picture summary of the holiday...
Enjoy...
* WARNING * Some pictures may feature James Ison
Me falling off a cliff at Land's End
The view from Land's End
Falmouth harbour
The wonderful surfing Fistral Beach in Newquay
Carbis Bay "station" looking towards St. Ives
View of St. Ives
Supposedly arty shot of me on step at St. Ives station
Wonderful view from the bay at Lizard Point (Most Southern point in the UK)
Me (again) admiring the breath taking view
And again...but just to prove where I am
Many seagulls on a bay near Poldhu Point (Where Marconi did his transmission to Newfoundland in 1901)
Finally the sun sets on a wonderful holiday.
So there we are...a selection of my holiday snaps. Makes you sad to be back home really. Weather was gorgeous and lovely scenery down there. Although I don't think I could live there long...but still a smashing part of the world.

Stunning......the sunset rather than the person in the photos !
Probably would have involved a drunken night in a Cornish pub, and you being disappointed that the establishment is not running a quiz. Then we all self destruct at 11pm (well, 0100 if the local pub to us was anything to go by... I love Cornwall!)Isonstine wrote:Oh heavens yes! Disasterous consequences for all involved, I believe!
Phew!
Eek! Don't remind me! I'm not sure why I let the pictures get taken!!NickyS wrote:But there are none of him with his top off unlike on his website - was Cornwall not warm enough for you to whip off your kit JamesThis and That wrote:Very nice and you just get better looking !!!!!
And Andy - I love Cornwall too...I never thought I'd discover the joy of Bad Jelly in the hotel bar.
Good Lord!
