The other parties' insurance paid for it in the end, so I got my excess back, but it actually cost over £800 to fix. Thats about 10% value of the car brand new, and considering that the only things that were broken were a scuffed bumper, dented wing and broken head light, i find it quite shocking.Jamez wrote:How much did the damage cost after that crash, DSM?Dr Sigmund Mohammad wrote:A gold Citroen Saxo

The car would be cheap enough to buy - but would you be able to insure it?squawkBOX wrote:Well after passing my test on Thursday (only two minors YAY!). I'm looking to get a nice car. I learned in a Mercedes A-Class, which is a very nice car to drive (compared to a lot of others that I have been in). If I find a nice secondhand one, then hopefully I can be a proud owner of one. Otherwise if not, I'll need to look for something else.
Well I passed it, I got 31 out of 35 on the Theory and 58 out of 75 on the Hazard Peception Test. So I am very happy now, but I should think about buying a car soon. Even though I will have a very limited budget.nwtv2003 wrote:Well I currently have my Provisional Licence and I have been driving since January, but I am taking my Theory Test on Tuesday morning, something which I haven't properly revised for yet.
