What screen resolution do you have your monitor and graphics card set at?

On both my PC and iMac, the resolution is 1024 x 768. It can be set higher on my PC, but my monitor
shows a corrupted display, if I set it any higher than that even if my (newly installed ATi Rage Pro)
graphics card is capable of reaching the dizzy heights of a 1600 x 1200 resolution.

Yeah, I know what some of you are probably thinking . . . get a new monitor! But I really can't be
bothered! To be honest, I'm happy to stick with my (32bit colour) 1024 x 768 resolution as it is.

1280 x 960 because it's the highest possible on my monitor while still being the right shape. 1280 x 1024 is the stupidest shape ever.

800x600, I have no idea what the maximum for this monitor is, though I know it can do 1024x768.

1024 X 768 - I have it at that, simply because it is the biggest and best size which fits well with the monitor. Which is big compared to the last one I had.

1152x864 works marvels for me. It's not too small, not too big. I've had it like this for a long time (17inch Monitor) and everything else seems far too big. I do switch back to 800x600 on occasions to check my site designs to see if they look okay on that setting.

I am also at 1152x864 but sometimes I shift up a gear to 1280x960 if I need that little extra bit of space. This monitor goes up to 1600x1200 comfortably (it's a 17" iiyama Vision Master Pro 413) but unfortunately the graphics card is onboard and can only handle 256 colours at 1600x1200 :(

I could never go back to 800x600 now I have been using this high resolution. 800x600 is way too cramped for my liking.

I use 1152x864 on my 19" monitor. It's a lovely resolution for me, it's clear and easy to read which there still being a sizeable expanse of screen real estate. My laptop only runs at 1024x768 and even though it's only a little bit smaller it can feel very cramped.

I just went to check my settings to see if I can bump the res up and discovered my Graphics Card or Monitor actually has widescreen ratios.

Changed to see what it was all about and true enough it is indeed widescreen ratios in there. *ya learn something new everyday*

Widescreen ratios are starting to become more common now, with a number of widescreen panels on sale now.

There is a little utility on the internet which allows you to specify pretty much any resolution you like - not just a standard aspect ratio.

Lol I've had this Graphics card for 2 or 3 years now and I'm sure it's been there all that time when I think about it. ROFL.
