Hello all.

I am having a problem with my messenger.
For no reason the service will sign me out then sign me back in again.

This is annoying.

Can anyone help?

Thank you in advance.

I had that problem just after I downloaded the latest - or the one before that - version. It was either redownloading it, or downloading the newest one that fixed it, or it just fixed itself.

I had that problem. It turned out I had 4.7 running too, even though i couldnt see the icon in the taskbar.

ALT+CTRL+DEL close "msnmsgs.exe" .

Then Run> Msconfig> Starup and disable "msnmsgs.exe"

I believe there is something wrong with MSN this evening. I had some strange goings on earlier. Saying people were offline but were talking to me. Messages not being sent. Then I was signed out and haven't got back in at all.

I was sitting here for ages wondering where everyone had gone. Thought it was odd not to have anyone else online, even for a Friday night.

Thank you Cheese.

I did what you requested and located the file within my Task MGR. Although when I go into my start up I have no file called be "msnmsgs.exe"

any ideas?

Thank you.
