Boy 2 "Ah forget it I've got ID" He shows me his provisional driving licence (obviously over 16). Me "Right, but I still can't serve you as one of you doesn't have proof of age. I can't serve someone who will supply to someone under age" I'm not defending the little arsehole, bu...

Neither did I, but I'm sure cwathen will be along at some point with one of his fascinating posts about Wispa and where the others have gone...

At what point have I ever spoken about Wispa?

But anyway, Wispa rebranded to the slightly questionable name of Cadbury Dairy Milk Bubbles last year.

You don't get it with BT they keep changing their Internet service every 5 mins, it's either BT, BT Yahoo, and I am sure there was something else in between that and LineOne.
IIRC, LineOne was their paid ISP, and until about 1999/2000 BT also had a free ISP called BT Click.

It has just come to me, whatever happened to CIC, they always stuck their idents on loads of videos, usually Paramount ones. But I remember they had a scarier ident in the early 1990's. Also whatever happened to Tempo Video? AFAIK, the CIC brand was a joint collaboration between Paramount and Unive...

I thought the Co-Op had taken over the Alldays chain?
All the Alldays stores near me changed to Local Plus in 2002.

Is that really part of Co-Op since they now seem to be replacing all their old store brands with the 'your local co-op <place name>' brand?

From what I have heard they are going to sell off a few stores to other supermarkets, because they were told to do so because of what the government and competition. But they are all being rebranded to Morrisons as I have been told so, so that means they will have crap like 'Market Street' and load...

The new store in Truro which opened in 2002 to replace the old cramped one has the new logo. Perhaps it's experimental, or as was suggested that so few stores use it that they're holding off on officially adopting it until more stores have it outside? The store in Plymouth (which also has to be a ca...

Yep, I'd definately go for spray paint if you want it to look half decent, a bit of clear laquer on top would work wonders too and help prevent it rubbing off. All that said though, if it's just to make beige drives look nice in a black case, if you've got a few extra quid it's a lot less hassle jus...

An old thread, but I've only just spotted it... The video for Wuthering Heights is the most wonderful piece of dance after Ison's famous curtains dance on webcam. it's a sheer masterpiece of it's day. Especially the bit with the funny walk. Yep, that video is brilliant, aswell as Kate's performance ...

I did know that supermarket fuel was generally of lower quality, but didn't think it was an issue unless you had a higher performance car - I thought my 1.1 Rover Metro would run pretty much the same on anything and so always filled up at with ordinary Sainsburys ULS (whose forecourt in Plymouth see...
