Re: Adverts that irritate and entertain

My current advertising gripe is the Asda '10% cheaper' promotion. The way the group of friends, especially the main one, act just doesn't seem realistic in the slightest.

Re: Strange shops in your area

Other than the rather useful army/navy store, there's nothing unusual shops-wise in Scunthorpe. Very homogeneous in that sense.

It's not on iTunes yet? *gasp*

Gah that's brilliant! Cheers for bringing that here.

I wonder how long it'll be before McDonalds see it and threaten legal action.

Re: TV Forum Watch News and Information Board

Anyone else think it would be a good idea to have a seperate thread for stuff about the request forum? I only ask because I find the talk of swapping music and 'such a person says they have this and withhold it' mind-numbingly boring and disrupts the much more important talk of what a tit ginofish ...

Re: In-store music

It could be much worse. Scunthorpe's TJ Hughes plays a selection of songs that are badly covered. Not nice to listen to at all.

I can't stand the overly pretentious Seat car advert encouraging you to express yourself - with a car. Featuring a tattoo artist who - surprise surprise - thinks tattoos are healthy.

Thankfully it's not on very often.
