Re: The Labour Party: Where Next?
UKIP is the old right wing element of the Tories, mixed in with the xenophobic element. Where as a bigot may not vote BNP or Britain First, unless they're far-right, they'll feel more comfortable voting for them. They achieved more than any of the far-right parties have ever done by adding a mainstr...

Re: The Labour Party: Where Next?
Chuka Umunna is rumoured to be planning to run against Corbyn in yet another leadership contest. What Momentum who have infiltrated the Labour Party fail to realise is that Corbyn is not PM material and need to attract floating voters who tend to vote Conservative, which is how Tony Blair got into p...

Re: TV Forum Watch News and Information Board
Pregnancygate on the Sky News Presenters & Rotas thread is becoming tiresome. Some think they're being 'told' what to say, but then don't have the common sense to understand why speculation over a colleague's private life is unacceptable. If Skygeek leaves because of this nonsense and I fully un...

Re: The Unofficial Sainsbury's Thread
Sainsbury's Entertainment is closing, Movies and TV has closed today with MP3, Digital Magazines and ebooks will close on October 1st. I'm surprised they took so long! They've given me £5 worth of credit (no purchase necessary) twice, and I can't be arsed to even have a look at what they might have...

Been meaning to mention this, Lloyds Pharmacy have taken over the in-house pharmacies locally.
They acquired the pharmacy business in July.

Re: The Unofficial Sainsbury's Thread
This'll be why the big Sainsbury's near me had new self-checkouts when I went in last week, with the four conveyor belt ones replaced with 8 standard ones (with quite a lot of room in-between them as they replace a much bigger unit) - these would have been the old style that doesn't accept polymer ...
