Re: Pres Cafe Watch News and Information Board
I note that a post claiming a camera from Studio B came off its tracks whilst on air has disappeared. I presume this is because of an ongoing investigation by the Rail Accident Investigation Branch.

Re: Pres Cafe Watch News and Information Board
I see that threads on Pres Café are now readable to non-members. I think it's especially useful on a forum where the first post in a thread is rarely the most enticing.

Re: Pres Cafe Watch News and Information Board
Regardless of people's thoughts on individual members, I can't say I particularly understand the rationale or care for the execution of this posting subject to approval. Surely, if somebody has broken the rules or their posts are so repeatedly contentious that they need to be pre-moderated, they sh...

Re: Another High Street Rebrand
It looks like all EG petrol stations will be fully rebranded as Asda, not just the stores themselves. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-65720635 That's surely going to mean a noticeable reduction in BP/Shell/Esso/Texaco's presence across the UK. Some of their petrol stations are pretty long in th...

Re: Pres Cafe Watch News and Information Board
Don't think so, as the problem is most noticeable when trying to view page 39 of the Schofield thread. Other pages in that thread seem to load fine, so which suggests there's some bad code in one of the posts that is affecting the page. I think the server crashed last night, whereas previously some...

Re: Pres Cafe Watch News and Information Board
I got that page for a few seconds at some point over the weekend, but it quickly resolved itself. I just hope we don't have to start again. EDIT: The site appears to be back up, with an apology banner "An intermittent fault is affecting availability of Pres Café. It's being investigated and wil...

Re: Pres Cafe Watch News and Information Board
With the inevitable finally occurring regarding the This Morning hosting situation, Pres Café is now full of mindless speculation and yet more ridiculpus comparisons to Caroline Flack (alongside awful language in reference to this). EDIT: It does seem the mods have been active this afternoon, so tha...

Re: Windows 9 is now Windows 10
And how the heck do you switch it off? I've tried Googling but all I get is ways of switching other things on and off. I've also hunted through the Edge settings but, again, can't find anything. Any help gratefully received. This thing, you mean? https://up.metropol247.co.uk/042023/1682695040_83302...
