Re: Pres Cafe Watch News and Information Board

Perhaps it's a case of rose-tinted spectacles to some degree - I don't think TV Forum was entirely free of hyperbole in people's reactions

Re: The Telly Forum Watch News and Information Board

Is there a reason you've remained entirely anonymous? Speaking personally, the reason Is to avoid any direct abuse being hurdled at any member of the team. Also having seen some of the abuse RF received, I do not want to go down that road. But I'm not sure many people would join a forum run by some...

Re: Pres Cafe Watch News and Information Board

Is that a three new threads limit (which seems entirely reasonable) or three new replies (which I have just tested, and doesn't seem to have occurred)? If the latter, perhaps you should reflect on the quality of your posts

Re: Yet another Morrisons thread

Talking of coupons, I note there's no Catalina printer attached. Are Morrisons doing away with them? Having looked again during my latest visit, they have installed the Catalina printers above the screen. I'm not sure if this was done in the meantime, or if I just missed it out of the photo I took.

That may explain where I'd seen the plastic bagging area then, most likely at Asda

Re: Yet another Morrisons thread

Speaking of coupons. I wish Tesco would fix their tills so that coupons on the clubcard app don't need you to wiggle a bit of paper in the slot to make it register. Also I noticed when I used SAYS on a NCR till the other day (so I could throw some cash in) it managed to unscan my clubcard I'd used ...

Re: Yet another Morrisons thread

I feel like I've seen them at Asda, but I can't be sure. I interface so rarely with the section below the scale nowadays, in fact only really when I have a physical coupon to tender. They certainly have the long rigid tray on their trolley self scans. Talking of coupons, I note there's no Catalina ...

Re: Yet another Morrisons thread

There's been a big change up my end - the belted self-service checkouts have been replaced with a slightly larger area of standard trolley-style self-service checkouts. However, the checkout is a new style: https://up.metropol247.co.uk/bilky%20asko/20221105_112100.jpg The note acceptor can take mult...

Re: Pres Cafe Watch News and Information Board

I think if it is something users want, and have had in other websites, then surely a compromise can be met on this issue, just to stop people asking about it. I think the relevant phrase is "tough shit". If the idea is such a popular one, set a website / Discord / Twitter Community / Subr...
