Re: Things that scared you as a child
Two that stick out for me are: [ Wiki | IMDB ] The Children of Green Knowe [ Wiki | IMDB ] Moondial Both of which totally terrified me - I think it was a moving statue of St Christopher in The Children of Green Knowe, but I can't remember what specifically scared me about moondial. Weirdly, I still ...

Re: Ten Years of TV Forum (and how to fix it)
Do you not think that massive generic threads (even regional ones) fuel the rota talk? As I see it, there isn't a massive requirement for ongoing discussion about local news - it's not a story that develops in any way, so people start to talk about who is presenting to keep the thread going... which...

Zoom is at 100%. Just done a Ctrl-F5 and it's still all a bit cockeyed!Alexia wrote:Looking fine for me. (XP, FF4
EDIT: Having said that, if I zoom in on my browser (CTRL+mousewheel) to about 125%, the hands and centre circle do start to go squiffy. Are you zoomed in at all?
Edit: FF3 is fine here too

Apologies if it has already been mentioned. On Chrome 12.0.712.0

Re: Ten Years of TV Forum (and how to fix it)
General threads are one of the things that stopped me posting - not because I'm dead against them, it's just that I can't see what's happening on the forum at a glance. I really don't want to read through pages and pages of itv discussion to see if I can shine any light on what people are discussing...

No.
Really can't think of anything to add here so I've intentionally left this space blank.

...doing at least a 37 hour show. 37 is the current record. They've been talking about 52 hours, which I guess is till the end of their Friday show.

Re: Costco
The only such item I'm loyal to is Fairy liquid since I've found anything else to be a false economy. Whenever the big bottles are less than £1 I buy a couple, normally suffices until the next offer. I do this sort of thing with stuff like Ribena too. ...But it doesn't get the dishes quite so clean...
