Re: Windows 9 is now Windows 10

Well I am now on Windows 10... I like it, install finalized overnight and everything went well, all my stuff is on there, it created an folder called Windows.old so I assume if you want to go back you can. Edge is nice, imported everything from IE no problem, it's now doing a disk clean up; Windows ...

I thought IE11 was okayish, but I think the new browser is a good move because even your average user tends to replace IE within about 5 seconds of getting a new PC nowadays. I don't see why people have such a downer on IE, I u...

Re: The Tesco & Other non-Morrisons Supermarket Thread

The Tesco at Copdock has WIFI in the store which is pretty cr@p! It's super slow; you lose it around the freezer section of the store, so that's 1/3rd of the store you can't use it, it's more like dial up!

We have two Lidl's in Ipswich, one in London Road and the other on the Nacton Estate. Both are very different in layouts, and both don't stock all of the same items either.

Re: Yet another Morrisons thread

The lady manning the till doesn't seem too impressed by it. And will they actually tell those dumpies that can't count and turn up with MORE than 10 items to sod off to another till? No they won't for fear of upsetting a customer! (I was told this by a Sainsbury's checkout girl when they had the ol...

Re: The Tesco & Other non-Morrisons Supermarket Thread

Interesting to hear the guy being interviewed at 8pm on the BBC News Channel about Tesco's future: Asked if there was a possibility that Tesco could go bust he said he seriously doubted it and that there would be another two that would go first and said that Tesco would probably be around in 10 year...

Re: Collections

Milk bottles! Milk bottles with adverts painted on them in the main, some just with the name of the dairy, but always in paint. It never used to work as a chat-up line though, "Would you like to come up and see my milk bottle collection?". Think we still have some printed ones up in our l...
