That said, I think the real trick is to leave X and not join a replacement. Even at their best, endless-scrolling platforms are just terrible. Endless-scrolling portrait video platforms are even worse, but at least I don't use those features - which is ironic since YouTube Premium is my most ...

I was in our Asda today and the music was on, but too quiet to actually hear what any of it was - basically it's just background noise.

Since these days so many (most?) First Buses carry route-specific liveries anyway, not really sure how much impact a new corporate brand will have now vs if it was done 10 years ago.

Here's another bit of Asda cost-cutting: they've switched to royalty-free dross on Asda Radio to save on licensing fees. I've not been in a branch lately to experience it but it sounds pretty soul-destroying.
