Re: Another High Street Rebrand
Saw a Waitrose advert last night, also without the "and partners" bit. Clearly they've given up on it, not that it wasn't a stupid idea to begin with.

Re: Pres Cafe Watch News and Information Board
BBC2 are showing it as well (BBC News will certainly be showing it as well, BBC Parliament probably too), that's 3 out of 5 of the main terrestrial channels, isn't that enough for anyone? Clearly not... Two Ident/Duncan has been saying "3 out of 5" as if it's a disgrace the other two aren'...

Re: Pres Cafe Watch News and Information Board
I presume TWO Ident on Pres Cafe and Duncan J on DS are the same person, both are irate about Channels 4 and 5 not showing the queen's funeral. As if it's not on enough channels already.

Re: Queen Elizabeth II
I do wonder how many of them would have the nerve to stand there booing the coffin on the processions or similar, they're never as tough when not behind a keyboard. We've even had people like Putin and the leaders of Sinn Fein being gracious about her, and these sorts of people aren't always respect...

Re: Queen Elizabeth II
I've seen so much nastiness online, it's shocking. I'm no fan of the royal family myself, but could these people just show a little respect? Of course, typically, most of it's coming from Americans, often showing their ignorance. A lot of it celebrating her death because of British colonial atrociti...

Re: TV Live Forum Watch News and Information Board
The TV Talk people are trying too hard, I didn't particularly appreciate the PM spamming, especially as they've been promoting themselves all over the forum anyway. I barely recognise the people running it. Although we do have names. Unlike pres cafe which is just looking out of the darkness like s...

Re: Coronavirus - Strange times
As I'm sure I said on here before, I lost a family member last year after his cancer diagnosis was delayed by 3 months because the doctors kept fobbing him off with phone and internet consultations and didn't want to see patients in person for anything but covid (even though when he first tried to s...

Re: Coronavirus - Strange times
It's a repeat of the hysteria we had when Omicron first emerged as well, with the media hysteria and reinstatement of restrictions, and completely ignoring what was happening in countries further along their Omicron wave- only to find the same happened everywhere else. Both South Africa and Portugal...
