Re: Coronavirus - Strange times
Seeing everyone have to learn the majesty of Microsoft Teams in a week has been an experience I don't mind Teams for the most part. What I do absolutely fucking hate is Citrix which my company uses for shared drive access. Has anyone else had to deal with this? Awful software. Absolutely awful.

Re: TV Forum Watch News and Information Board
Why is Brekkie such a curmudgeon? Even complaining about the #clapforourcarers? I mean, really? After the week people have had a lot of people wanted to let of steam and show their appreciation for the NHS. I have a lot of time for his posts normally but he can be extremely negative about quite lit...

Re: Coronavirus - Strange times
I wonder if Tuesday is going to be the official lockdown quarantine day. Emails from both National Express and John Lewis have said their last full days of service will be on Monday which seems an odd day of the week to choose otherwise. At least announcing it for Tuesday allows a last office prep d...

Re: Coronavirus - Strange times
It's odd to think that just a year or so ago Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Just Eat were being blamed as one of the main reasons why the chain restaurants were failing. Now the delivery services will probably be just about the only way any of these restaurants will cling on to life.

Re: Coronavirus - Strange times
I've been Skyping my friend who lives near Milan a lot this week. He's not got the virus but like the rest of the country is quarantined. Unfortunately he's alone in a one bed flat so has only his own company for at least the next fortnight. It all sounds like a miserable and absolutely bizarre expe...

Why is it called PINsentry? I've never understood it. Is it a play on words?

Re: TV Forum Watch News and Information Board
Weird heated argument over whether or not ITV could in theory pay to have their logo put on Television Centre currently occurring in the SNT thread.
Even though there's been no official suggestion or anything. Very TV Forum.

That EE 5G ad, it feels like they think it's really impressive but boy, you had to be there didn't you. It cuts so fast you can barely process what's going on and when you can make it out it's so meh.

Re: High Street chain collapse sweepstake
I’m putting all the chain Italian restaurants in the “negative outlook” category. I don’t think the bloodshed of 2019 is nearly over yet, and there’s still about a million of them. Carluccios has started widely discounting now too, which they never used to do. I agree with you. there is too much co...

Re: High Street chain collapse sweepstake
Topshop/Man in Westfield Stratford is closing in February. Seems mad that a major, busy store in one of the country's most important shopping centres is closing. I wonder if Arcadia's troubles will be rearing its head again soon. One wonders if this is a rent issue. The question is what happens wit...
