Re: Pres Cafe Watch News and Information Board
Yeah - Pres Cafe has 12 pages of discussion about the Queen, TV Talk Forum only has five. It's clear which of the two is more successful. Pres Cafe looks like it's going to win out as the successor to TV Live Forum. As for TV Ark Forum? Not a single post at all in September.

Re: TV Talk Forum Watch News and Information Board
SHADOWNINJA seems annoyed by the fact that most of the discussion in the Warner Bros Discovery thread lately has been about the company's financial issues and mass cancellations, and not their two streaming services HBO Max and Discovery+. He's not the one who started the thread, nor is he a moderat...

Are Reach's titles even safe? They've got staff on strike right now and freelance NAPA members are boycotting them. https://www.holdthefrontpage.co.uk/2022/news/strike-begins-as-1150-reach-journalists-walk-out-over-pay/ https://www.holdthefrontpage.co.uk/2022/news/press-agency-bosses-boycott-reach-i...

No. The Issas' company EG Group IS Eurogarages - it was Asda itself that was sold to them, not just their forecourts.

Like I said on TVLF, Rob's health is what's important. Nobody wants him to be ill just because of a message board.
Good luck to anyone who wants to try and set up a successor.

Re: Public Transport in your particular part of the region
I find the payment system for tickets outside of London so confusing. The Oyster system is so simple to use, I'm surprised TfL haven't tried licensing it to the other parts of England as it would earn them some much needed dosh. It gets complicated where there are multiple operators involved. We we...

Re: The Unofficial Sainsbury's Thread
For those who use Nectar prices, it's getting frustrating that there are certain products where I use Smartshop, have to pay full price and then get refund vouchers instead of it being deducted straight away. Personally I wouldn't buy the goods in that situation. There's no reason they can't just d...

That thread was a waste of time at the end of the day. Boris stayed in power, so the TV schedules weren't disrupted. Nothing to see there.
