Re: Adverts which irritate and entertain

Electro dancing eyebrows should be awesome, but they just give me the fear. The exact opposite goes for the Collins/Gorilla combo, strangely.

Re: Twitter

Oh crap, I'm getting this uneasy feeling of paranoia I got a couple of years ago when it seemed that I can't go 5 bloody minutes without hearing about Facebook and that I was a social luddite for not being on it. I now feel compelled to get a twitter account despite nothing interesting happening in ...

Separate flaps and pinch to open.

Opening milk just isn't as fun with these plastic bottles and screw tops. :( :( :(

Re: A load of bankers

I've really gone off HSBC, despite being a Midland bank customer to begin with. They seem to have spent an enormous amount tarting up their branches to look like a BBC News set only with more perspex, which should be an utterly ace thing but isn't. The staff are all geared up for business banking ra...

Re: Voices and Choices

I like the convenience of having telly dumped in font of me without asking for it and I think most people will never grow out of that. Not that you'd want to, because spare time is too scarce to spend proactively seeking out new content with no easy way of 'dipping in'. Channel hopping is fun too, y...

Re: Quality vs Quantity

Market forces vs technical snobbery, isn't it? Up to 10 million people will have viewed the (occasional) lego fest that is ITV1 on DSAT and haven't noticed, so standards would have to drop to almost TV Ark levels for a regulator to care.

I expected Lorna to be huskier for some reason, but yeah, nice. Ronnie, I think 2girls1cup reaction vids died a death when it peaked with Kermit and Rowlf.

Re: What's This Song Called?

It's library music called 'Please Maestro'. It was also used on the old Direct Line ads with the car/phone thing in a white void. Go to http://www.koka.com/default.aspx?skiplaunchpage=yes and search for it, don't know how to link to it direct as it's all Flash and in French or summat.

Re: your extra hour in bed

Realised I missed the point earlier, or at least I shouldn't give the impression I'm spending an hour perving at clocks. Strangely, ITNG's brand of baby nonsense makes more sense to me than Teletubbies or that rubbish GMTV one did. I'll spend the extra hour something. G'night.
