The power of words

We've seen over the last 30 years word become weaponised and others lose their meaning as societal attitudes have changed.

There's one word I absolutely hate though and I was wondering if it's just me.

The "n" word is horrific and shocking to me but so is the "q" word (for gay people).

Honestly phasing out daily data updates was long overdue and I think as I've said before perhaps it'll help wean people off looking for any Covid related data.

Anyone else think the dentistry is the ultimate hustle?

Dentists say that you should get your teeth checked every 6 months but you should only get cancer tests every few years. Strikes me that they're trying to secure themselves some recurring income.

Oh god, the BBC Three threads and BBC One threads has been taken by the rath of BBCMeridian, just regurgitating what we already know.

Doesn't help I feel some sort of argument brewed up because of the prospect of CBBC being "on" BBC Three.

If I were a gambling man, I would say that England and Sweden may be the countries to lead the world out of this mess and downgrade COVID to an endemic.

It's down to money, both the Scottish and Welsh Governments would go further but they can't because the Treasury won't give them more money or reintroduce things like furlough.
