Re: Will the UK ever adopt DAB+?

Incidentally as technologies and net speeds get better and quicker, buffering would (or should) become a thing of the past. There should at least be an option for limitless mobile data usage, even if its for initially squillions a month. True, but as the hardware gets faster, the software gets more...

Re: Will the UK ever adopt DAB+?

RegHardware said Sony is upgrading its DAB stuff to DAB+ soon however IIRC ofcom have taken the strange stance of not broadcasting in DAB+ until there are enough DAB+ receivers out there. marksi recently suggested*...

Will the UK ever adopt DAB+?

Re: Earth Week, or "Am I becoming Nick Harvey"?

Earth Week? I thought it was just Earth Night? Have they extended it to having to do it five days in a row? I did it two years ago as I wasn't expecting anyone, and it was nice watching the night sky, but meh, I haven't done it sine then. Also should the title- oh nevermind, just looked at the title...

Re: TV Forum Watch News and Information Board

Is there any significance of there being a BBC One clock up at the moment? Not quite sure how it ties in with the downfall of TVF... plus it's on a modern flat screen TV?

And, it's over. I'll take this moment to say that I probably won't post that much anymore, in fear of being shot down for a weak argument.

Re: Ten Years of TV Forum (and how to fix it)

An idea may be to set up another TV Forum and only allow "trusted" members to register for it (by the admins/mods of Metro)
