Re: TV Live Forum Watch News and Information Board

But to be fair, it wasn’t always going to be a gradual change. At first, some reported a one-hit effort, and that’s moved further from being the reality as time has gone on.

Re: TV Live Forum Watch News and Information Board

Looking forward to the ‘dodgy’, ‘creased’ sofa cover in the Newsnight/Marr studio being mentioned every week for evermore.

What is the little notch I've seen on all my new cards in aid of? Just to help with orientation?

Re: TV Live Forum Watch News and Information Board

This is proper barmy. I had a dream the other night regarding the new look - specifically BBC News - and because I am the way that I am, I focused on the music. It sounded like David Lowe was still at the helm - but if I remember correctly, the pips were removed? There was a mnemonic, and it was int...

Re: Another High Street Rebrand

I’ve noticed that John Lewis and Waitrose don’t always verbally include the ‘and Partners’ bit in their advertising. Maybe there are valid reasons for not doing so, but if they’re not going to use their ‘full name’, nobody else will. I always saw the intention behind the move, but it was never going...

Re: TV Live Forum Watch News and Information Board

Re: Masks

Finding the description of these experiences bewildering. I believe they’ve happened, but I’ve not experienced or observed any kind of reaction at all from anyone in Kent, London, nor any of the other places I’ve visited. My life seems quite dull compared to some of these episodes!

Re: TV Live Forum Watch News and Information Board

I've been biting my tongue over some of the inane blog like threads that have popped up and I feel guilty as I know some people may have learning difficulties of some kind but I do think we need to stamp down on them and perhaps gently remind people of the rules when they sign up. I’m intrigued by ...

Re: The Very Official McDonalds (and other fast food outlets) Thread

I must admit that I worry about those for whom cash is essential. And I don’t mean luddites, but those who sleep rough, those who aren’t able to use debit cards due to a history of bad spending, those who maybe rely on a cash system to budget effectively. There are many fringe cases and it often tho...
