Re: Are the Tories finished before they start?
But I expect them to lay down clear, black and white rules and boundaries for us to live by (as opposed to Labour's woolly 'guidelines'). Anybody else recognise "skyfan"s posting style... it's starting to ring bells with me after these two posts: Isn't their studio rubbish? All that fakeness, pure BBC! http://www.tvforum.co.uk/forums/post625487#post625487 You must be a License Fee supporter then ;-) http://www.tvforum.co.uk/...

Also make sure you have a valid doctype in the header of the file. Explorer falls back to IE6 rendering / box model if it doesn't know it's a standards compliant page. <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd"> <h...

This blog - http://blogs.msdn.com/jensenh/rss.xml - goes into a lot of detail about the changes to the ribbon UI from toolbars & menus in 2007, specifically the posts in a series called " Why the UI? ". Anyway, this section answers some of your questions about why they didn't keep the ...

A good way to detect clock changes is to record when the software is launched, as well as when installed. As obviously time can't go backwards, subsequent launches of the software must be after the last time it was run. A simple way of storing such data is to encrypt it, or use a hashing function, a...
