I don't know how we've managed, but in you we seem to have found someone with even less of a clue about politics than James! I got a 1st class honours in politics back in 1988, and I am now doing a phd. Fair enough, I do specialise in German politics, but I think I have a bit of a clue as far as br...

Conservative for me. At the massive risk of getting a massive kicking, I am nonetheless getting more and more tempted to vote BNP (if there were a candidate standing.) Although I believe that some of their practices are questionable, they have tried very hard to bring important issues to the countr...

Yes, the current fifty is the original series E banknote, the same style the £5, £10 and £20 were before the last change. The current design is known as Series E Revised. Now that the design has undergone a radical change, it is the Series F. The £20 is the most forged note, contrary to popular beli...

Err... have you ever seen the current £50. It is nothing like the new 20 (I have been withdrawing larg...

Re: Latest terror plot..

Just got in from work and tuned into Sky news. Their source is suggesting that these guys were planning a plot involving a beheading to be shown on the internet. If this is true. Scary stuff! There are some right weirdos out there! * Shudders. The sooner they start automatic deportation of these ba...

Re: Cleaning Coca-Cola from the Carpet

Last night I bought a big mac meal on my way home. I was on my bike so I put the coke in the water bottle holder. When I got home I had to carry the bike upstairs to my flat. I was a bit pissed. I forgot about the coke. Result: trail of Coca-Cola all the way up the stairs. Any recommendations for c...

Since your're still walking/typing (presumably), you are probably not having a stroke, despite the symptoms being similar.

I would suggest that stress is probably the answer, or at a lesser chance, indigestion.
