Re: 2015 UK Election

Tories on course for 325 - an effective outright majority. Incredible result really, exceeding all expectations for Tories. Big name scalps in Scotland & slaughter for Lib Dems. New leaders required for Labour, Lib Dems & UKIP ? Meanwhile the polling industry is in tatters after this result.

Re: 2015 UK Election

Jim Murphy gone.

If exit poll figures are correct the suggestion is that Tories could legitimately govern as a minority.

Re: 2015 UK Election

Far from 'locking Cameron out' looks like Sturgeons SNP successes against Labour will only serve to give him tenancy for another 5 years.

Re: Giving your ball a rub for the election

Perhaps the bigger challenge is to predict who the leaders of each political party will be a year on from now ?

The only certainty really being Sturgeon.

Re: 2015 UK Election

Of course no party should be ruling out working with anyone before the electorate have spoken. If it is the will of the electorate then they should be open to collaboration and consensus to form stable government.

Totally disingenuous and disrespectful to the electorate to say otherwise.

Re: Giving your ball a rub for the election

Tories could struggle to form a coalition I think. Lib Dems will be diminished and UKIP won't have enough. So can foresee a struggle for the Tories to get over the line.

Labour with the SNP seems most likely. Labour seem to have more options with parties more willing to collaborate with them.
