Re: Could Boris still become PM:
We'll disagree, I for one want this recession to bottom out, so that REAL growth can start, not some QE infused mirage, The only way of doing this is by bearing down a hell of a lot harder than has been done to date on spending of all sorts. I for one have had enough of this clamour for more assista...

Re: Could Boris still become PM:
What are his policies? Have characteristics better left to an X Factor audition taken over as the most important element to Conservative voters? Yes, of course. Quite right, All parties are restricted with their options bearing in mind the deficit, Balls said as much at the TUC last week, don't for...

Re: Could Boris still become PM:
Boris has chutzpah, which endears supporters and also attracts others across traditional boundaries, whilst at the same time annoying the heck out of others. Whether this is sufficient to guarantee election I am uncertain but it could be worth trying especially if a sense of desparation sets in.

Re: Another High Street Rebrand
The current product portfolios are almost identical between BoS and HFX so switching brands for customers of both of them wont be an issue. Introducing some Lloyds products to both might be attractive too. I'm not iclined to try it now, but up to 3 years ago, on a previous version of online banking,...

Re: Another High Street Rebrand
Post Project Verde ... the forced disposal of the 'TSB' brand, Lloyds will be a brand throughout the UK. Halifax will remain in England and Wales, and Bank of Scotland will remain North of the border. There might be a couple of BoS branches exceptionally in London though, mainly for Political reason...

Glasses less 3D Receivers
Seems that there's a small problem following the recent reveal of the next Generation of 3D receivers. The way the video is processed, means according to one report that existing 3D BR Disks are incompatible with the technology in the new standard being developed.

Re: Will the UK ever adopt DAB+?
I've listened EXCLUSIVELY to DAB at home for the past five years when I use a radio. As for 4G replacing radio think about the detail and then forget it. FM will be redistributed probably starting in around 5 years time, the BBC for one will be looking at saving distriburion costs and that'd be a ma...

Re: High Street chain collapse sweepstake
They should've done what Santander did, and closed some branches after they took over Birthdays. In Hull, there was a Bradford and Bingley right opposite an Alliance & Leicester, with an Abbey a couple of streets away. Though all three were initially rebranded as Santander after they bought B&a...

In what respect 'dull'?
He's refreshing, articulate, and doesn't push his persona above the content of the show.
