Actually that was what I first noticed from him. Merge CBBC and CBeebies but crucially absolutely not BBC World News and the BBC News Channel.

Re: TV Live Forum Watch News and Information Board,
Please don't respond to BBCMeridian - I am pretty sure he is a child who takes great satisfaction in being contrary to things most people dislike, both on the forum and YouTube (e.g. Live & Kicking 2000 revamp was better than SMTV, when I imagine he probably isn't old enough to have even seen e...

Re: Coronavirus - Strange times
How interesting, I too was wiped out last night a day after having the booster (Pfizer). I was absolutely fine after the first two vaccines which are also higher dosage I believe.

Re: Coronavirus - Strange times
And now someone's actually died from it, expect complete over the top hysteria now. Even more so than we've already been having. Doesn't matter we've been averaging over 100 covid deaths a day for months, this one death is going to be treated like it heralds disaster. James I really think you need ...

Re: The Very Official McDonalds (and other fast food outlets) Thread
I noticed Wendy's in Croydon has opened and was busy for a typical pre-Christmas Saturday afternoon, but there wasn't a large queue outside the resturarant. I can see Wendy's flopping. I think it's trying to position itself somewhere between McDonald's and Five Guys but not sure there's much of a m...

Re: Coronavirus - Strange times
Oh goody. I’d missed this cheerful thread. I was strongly against reimposing mandatory masks because, aside from it being demonstrably obvious that they don't do anything Eh? That's not true at all. Where did you get that one from? Generally, despite the new opportunity of fearmongering for the pre...

Re: The Tesco & other non-Morrisons supermarket thread
Just walked past the closed Sainsbury's opposite their HQ and it's going to imminently open as their own walk in/walk out store, only about a minute's walk from Tesco's own (which still has about 5 staff members outside it helping people sign up). Looks like it will be using the SmartShop app. This ...

Re: Energy bills: How spanked will YOU get?
Richard Herring will be gutted. He'd push their free recommendation credit on his podcast all the time netting him £50 of credit each time someone signed up (I think I did this through him). I went on a date with someone who worked at Bulb HQ and said that Richard had about £30k in account credit.

Re: The Tesco & other non-Morrisons supermarket thread
The Tesco website has been hacked and was down yesterday. It's back up now. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-59027423 I wonder if this buggered their new walk in walk out store if they had some sort of back up there. I walked past it today and they've got a hell of a lot of staff, many of whom w...

Re: The Unofficial Sainsbury's Thread
I just, I don’t know, I can’t get my head round paying someone to go to the shop for me because I can’t be arsed. Yes yes I know, some people aren’t able to etc, but I don’t think that’s who is using this. Is that not the same as any takeaway delivered to your house though? Someone's making you a m...
