Just spoken to someone who's on holiday with Thomas Cook. Looks like they have been prepared for the worst. Also likely that the company will collapse and that the board meeting is just a formality.
Anyway we'll know at around 0700 tomorrow.

Spud U Like has closed it's doors on all its shops.

The boss of Edinburgh Woollen Mill is attempting to purchase Jack Wills (Mike Ashley is also interested) to stop it collapsing into administration.

Circa 4500 jobs to go in Metro formats as part of simplification (my guess many will turn into express) Also 134 Express stores to have their opening hours cut. That is new EPOS equipment anyway, Co-op seem to be switching to Windor Nixdorf (or Diebold Nixdorf as it is now) from the existing IBM kit, but running the same software.
