Re: Pres Cafe Watch News and Information Board

Every time I go into the BBC News thread they are taking about “the 5 missing presenters” I enjoyed the suggestion they should just accept the new terms so things are resolved. Come on ladies, know your place and stop being stubborn, you’re messing up the rota! A lot of people commenting have clear...

Re: High Street chain collapse sweepstake

To answer my own question, according to my local terrible quality Reach publication, they are: https://www.nottinghampost.com/news/uk-world-news/wilko-back-site-launched-brand-8827736?int_source=nba It's really bizarre their approach with Wilko. I really don't know why but I have a feeling in the f...

Re: What's going on with all this gender stuff?

I think there needs to be a distinction between trans women who want to live their lives, and bad men who could use self ID to access female only spaces. I’m neither female, nor trans, so I have no idea how prevalent the second of those two groups is, but I don’t understand how we can stop it from h...

Re: Pres Cafe Watch News and Information Board

Because not only are you a massive bore, you’re also all the things that you accuse others of. I’ve literally no idea who Joe is, the only interaction I remember us having is agreeing with each other, by no more than liking each others posts once or twice, about what an arse you are. I’m sorry if th...

Re: High Street chain collapse sweepstake

Agree it’s odd - could understand if they were also buying a number of stores. Maybe they see more value in the Wilko brand and intend on using it for themselves. Always thought The Range looks and feels really dated. Or maybe, and probably more likely, they intend to claim to be ‘the home of Wilko’...

Re: Predictions for 15/08/2023

Ooh ok then, I’ll make a few. 1) North Korea will have been invaded, and a democratically elected government put in place. Floodgates opened for rampant capitalism. Big deal made of first NK McDonalds and Starbucks. 2) GB News still going. 3) Spice Girls reunion including new music to have happened,...

Re: Pres Cafe Watch News and Information Board

I mean it’s probably different people posting, but I find it odd over there the contrast between the relative glee at the gobbling up of local radio stations by Bauer, Global etc, vs the horror at the idea of BBC Local Radio cutting back.
