Re: Adverts that irritate and entertain
When playing a mobile game, I sometimes get an advert for another app... which turns out to be incompatible with my device (just had that happen with a new Doctor Who game, I'd install it if I could, but I can't). Why advertise it to me if it's impossible for me to install the app they're advertising?

Re: Yet another Morrisons thread
Did Morrisons take over Simply Fresh recently? The Simply Local store in Hull City Centre just rebranded as Morrisons Daily. Same posters went up as was used when the local McColls converted to that brand.

Re: High Street chain collapse sweepstake
M&Co gave up their lease on my local store which is now a Superdrug before the pandemic, which would suggest they were in trouble well before then. I never saw anyone use the store in the last decade when it was open. I remember another store before it went into administration starting selling ...

Re: TV Talk Forum Watch News and Information Board
The answer is yes. I registered on both initially, but spent more time on Pres Cafe. It became clear a couple of months ago that that site was going to be the long term successor to TV Live Forum.

Re: Pres Cafe Watch News and Information Board
Odd to ban me from Pres Cafe when... I had nothing to do with the whole "leaking the information regarding the new branding of channel 3". (Allanbuzzy). This is coming from a moderator of TV Talk Forum, the forum of which leaked that specific image. Am I just not allowed to use the other ...

Grr! Stagecoach Hull is on strike on Hull Fair week! Means all buses outside of 7am-6pm are cancelled, except for the Park and Ride. Usually they extend the buses to continue from the city centre to the Fair on Walton Street, but that won't be happening this year. https://www.stagecoachbus.com/promo...

Re: Pres Cafe Watch News and Information Board
Yeah, ITV and Sky have gone overboard, showing it on every channel they own. And of course it'll be on BBC One as well - which will honestly scoop up most of the audience - it doesn't make sense for the digital channels to be airing it, they might as well show blank screens!
