I got on a bus today where the British Heart Foundation advert on the side read "get off one stop before and walk". The bus in question overheated and left us stuck about 20 miles from the stop for ages. Ah! The burden of hot, indeed overheating, buses signifies that once again summer is ...

Well myTravel did make our journey out to Menorca interesting. Took off from East Midlands 4 hours late, after 20 minutes in the air the pilot let us know we'd be turning back because the plane was fooked. So we get back, some people were helping a lady who was having a bit of a panic attack (I was ...

I was once on a flight to Menorca I think it was, and at the start, the captain did the usual introductions of his co-pilot and the head of trolley-dolly squad and whatnot, but didn't introduce himself. "Alright", I thought, "it's not like I'll ever remember his name". At the end...

Three words...
Prince of Persia
(is that more like two and a half?) Anyhoo! The ultimate challenge, punctuated by a rockin' internal speaker soundtrack (for those without a Gravis Ultrasound or Sound Blaster 16/Pro).

I believe I will vote "Sod off. It's a beautiful day, I've got better things to do than be answering internet polls." It really is lovely isn't it! I very nearly answered in that fashion myself... Although coming to think of it, seeing an effigy of *me* being burned would be an even great...

The *OFFICIAL* rts photo poll

Well after seeing RTS put *another* photo of himself up ("Dressing for the occasion" thread) - presumably for us all to wank over (I know I will be), not to mention the numerous avatar images of him every time you change page on this forum, I've decided it's time for a poll! So what do you...

I've just been on a crawl out of Manchester back to my hall and I realised two things.

1. I'm bored and
2. The bus was very hot, owing at least in part to the summery weather we've been having.

This makes me wonder, does anyone else have instances of boredom on hot buses?
