Regarding all the expedia junk. If you go to Tools - Options - Privicy there is a ticky box called "This is a shared computer so don't display my tabs." Tick and and sign out and back in. Plus I'm sure that 6.1 is less cluttered than I remember 6.0 being. The picture things (love them) can...

oh that's good. I'm waiting for the big website revamp that is aparently comiing with 1.5 I think Mozilla won't be really ready for end users until Firebird and Thunderbird replace it and the GRE is seperated which may be a while. Mind you Firebird Help is very user friendly - they could take some h...

You make a compelling argument. I haven't used Firebird since the early beta - it wasn't too bad. I shall download it as soon as my other downloads have finished. Edit: I wish the Mozilla site wouldn't use PNG files. They are not as efficient as GIF files on low colour images. I will also say that ...

If it renders everything correctly, why didn't AOL use it in it's client software? and if AOL didn't use Netscape, why should anybody else? Netscape seems to have an inability to run scripts and render many webpages correctly. It doesn't fully support (implement correctly) the document object model...

Just use it, especially on web pages with multiple tables and controls like buttons and drop downs on them, and you'll find it doesnt render them correctly. I think you'll find it renders everything "correctly." Could you give us some examples of what is so terrible about Gecko so we can ...

You say you don't want a skinned interface. Well Firebird's default theme gets the OS to draw most things so it fits really well into XP and if you want to really get an IE type look you could install the skin Luna which looks pretty much identical to IE6 in XP. Can I just ask why you don't want to ...

It just uses the Netscape plugins I think. I don't use Opera as it's crap IMO.

Well with regatrds to Netscape and flash - all Mozilla based browsers support flash.

Netscape 7.1 is just Mozilla 1.4 with loads of AOL garbage clagged on.

Mozilla Firebird is the most similar in interface to IE though. 0.7 is coming out pretty soon.
