Re: Public Transport in your particular part of the region

Some of the London Overground ticket sale stats are shocking but I'm curious who are these people who are buying tickets when Oyster and Contactless exists. Overseas tourists. Contactless is not ubiquitous everywhere, and even if it was providers sting with charges. Oyster is a much harder concept ...

Re: Public Transport in your particular part of the region

In London contactless was rolled out onto the underground 2014, and then in 2015 ticket offices on the underground were closed. I emphasised the "then" as that is essentially the problem with the proposal to close railway station ticket offices. With TFL they introduced a simpler alternati...

Re: Public Transport in your particular part of the region

I think any problem is Euston itself as any changes made at the station just don’t seem to help due to its dreadful layout. These screens at other Network Rail managed stations such as Victoria or Waterloo seem to have been better received. I personally like the new style, although they can feel a ...

Regardless of people's thoughts on individual members, I can't say I particularly understand the rationale or care for the execution of this posting subject to approval. Surely, if somebody has broken the rules or their posts are so repeatedly contentious that they need to be pre-moderated, they sh...

Perhaps connected with fixing their previous issues? Don't think so, as the problem is most noticeable when trying to view page 39 of the Schofield thread. Other pages in that thread seem to load fine, so which suggests there's some bad code in one of the posts that is affecting the page. I think t...

Bizarre because it was working just a few minutes ago. Get the feeling the domain wasn't renewed. Yup, that sort of thing tends to happen if you don't renew your hosting and/or domain name. Looks like it's now been replaced with a basic plain text message saying they're experiencing technical issues.

Re: The Barclays and other non-Lloyds/TSB Bank thread
