Re: Bauer 'premium' stations – no ads, skip tracks
There's more on this on the Radio Today podcast. The live track "skipping" works by replacing whatever is playing with another streamed track, then re-joining the (slightly delayed) live feed at the point the "skipped" track ends. Quite a clever solution!

I also can’t taste any difference between the formulations, but then I’ll admit to being a complete heathen who can’t taste any difference between it and ‘proper’ coke either.

Re: The Unofficial Sainsbury's Thread
Have they paused Avios to Nectar conversion at the moment? I hear on the grapevine that they’re currently paused online. With many BA accounts still having old-style four digit PINs instead of passwords, they’re really quite hackable. This hasn’t previously been all that big an issue as most Avios ...

Re: TV Forum Watch News and Information Board
People who kudos a post which criticises them!? Don’t understand at all. I don’t think I’ve done this specifically on TVForum, but I think it’s context-specific. Giving kudos to a post which contradicts you to say “oh, I hadn’t thought of it in those terms” or “I stand corrected” or “good point” or...

Re: Coronavirus - Strange times
What really takes the biscuit is bar staff and cafe staff wearing those stupid splash guard screens. They provide absolutely no protection from the virus on their own. The Government guidance has more faith in them than you: "...a clear visor that covers the face and provides a barrier between...

Re: Coronavirus - Strange times
I'm confounded by the claim that Cummings sought "senior medical advice" which cleared him to drive back from Durham to London to return to work. We're therefore asked to accept the idea that he reported having problems with his eyesight, and a "senior medical advisor" confirmed—...

Re: Another High Street Rebrand
It's taken the full year but we now seem to be in the position where only the mysterious Just Right remains in the older packaging I see Special K has now switched to packaging that doesn't feature the word "Kellogg's" at all on its front panel... apart from one letter, of course. https:/...

Re: The Unofficial Sainsbury's Thread
I’d be interested to know how you will checkout for this. Currently the store has no obvious room to install a bank of Smart Shop checkouts like I’ve seen in other already enabled stores unless they took out some manned checkouts. Perhaps the new barcode scanners at the manned checkouts will someho...
