Re: Mystery Bags and official food waste thread
A lot of hotels in my part of London did this (pre pandemic at least) at the end of their breakfasts and it would be a great way of getting a huge bag full of fruit, pastries and the odd yoghurt for £2 at around 10am at the weekend.

Re: Brexit
There seems to be a curious lack of calling out negative things that are a direct result of Brexit, blaming the pandemic for things that were otherwise functioning during the pandemic last year. Nando's running out of chicken the other day was reported by BBC News as being a result of the 'pingdemic...

I see the new look has launched, but I've been forcibly logged out and can't log back in, it says "The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again." Yes unfortunately I've got this as well on my desktop though I'm still logged in on my mobile. In your web browser try to search for co...

Re: Another High Street Rebrand
I'm amazed they've made it to 100 years but fair play to them, it's quite an achievement for a company that's constantly been on the brink of disappearing to continue operating when everything in the modern world is against them and they're actually opening new stores.

Re: Spammy spam spam
I've had a few phone calls but absolutely tonnes of spam texts. Mainly pretending to be Royal Mail, DPD, UPS etc. A lot of them have given up on even hiding the phone number now, just sending it straight from the 11 digit number, they must know they get a good hit rate regardless. There was a BBC Ne...

Re: TV Live Forum Watch News and Information Board
Oh good. Another “BBC is broken” thread. I'm not saying it's broke, as I said it's a cosmetic thing, nothing to do with how the forum engine room works. I've worked with the Milk theme a lot and know several admins who have found that adjusting the colour of one thing can mess something else up whi...

Oh good. Another “BBC is broken” thread where all the suggestions are significantly worse than the status quo.

Re: The Unofficial Sainsbury's Thread
I think that underlines why it's probably a bit too early to trust your phone to everything and not carry anything else with you. If I've travelled from my house I do still feel the need to have physical cards and if I've travelled by train, paper tickets. Putting all your trust in a battery powere...
